Thanks again for a great 2023 through your giving so many families are filled with hope for 2024. It was one of the best gifts you gave many families this year.

By now most of us have felt the cool breeze faithfully signaling the changing season. Out come the sweaters, the gloves and scarfs. Most of us push back turning on the heater as long as possible to avoid the high cost it brings with it. Our pantry patrons faithfully come no matter the season.

Lindsey, Jason and their two pre-school kids moved to Portland from California nine months ago. On Thursday morning, Lindsey called the pantry.

This past Thursday night was the first of three Oregon Food Bank (OFB) workshops that we are hosting at the pantry.

As of the writing of this newsletter we are booking deliveries into the month of June. Many individuals live alone, the contact and socialization they are able experience from this program for many is a highlight of their week. We help to connect them to their community.
